Our beautiful Burbank CA also known as "The Media Capital of the World" has been selected as one of the top finalist for the "Most Business Friendly City in Los Angeles County" for a second year in a row.  What an honor!  This honor is awarded by Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDEC).  Burbank was selected by a blue ribbon panel of judges for the City's commitment to attracting and retaining businesses that provide qualifty jobs for its residents.

Burbank Real Estate is very popular among young families interested in buying a home.  There are many older, lovely established neighborhoods here, as well as new developments that are ideal for buying a home for real estate investments. The City of Burbank has no rent control. 

More than any other reason, I hear people like to buy Burbank Real Estate because of the access to our Burbank Unified School District. Our schools shine in state testing. Four of the District's elementary schools: Emerson, Harte, Jefferson, and Roosevelt soared above 800 on the 2006 Academic Performance Index (API).  They are considered as "high-performing" schools by the State of California.  Three elementary schools: Stevenson, Miller, and Disney are very close to the 800 mark.  Overall, every one of our Burbank schools have an API above 700, which is very good, and the District's 2006 API exceeds the state average by 64 points!
